ABOUT SISTER CITIES
Sister Cities is a concept created by President Eisenhower at the 1956 White House summit on citizen diplomacy. Eisenhower envisioned a network that would be a champion for peace and prosperity by fostering bonds between people from different communities around the world. President Eisenhower reasoned that people from different cultures could understand, appreciate, and celebrate their differences while building partnerships that would lessen the chance of new conflicts.
Global Community Conversations are monthly themed virtual events featuring subject matter experts from both Cincinnati and Nancy. These events were created to celebrate our 30th Anniversary year of friendship while living through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each 4th Saturday of the month, join us for an hour discussion followed by a 30 minute interactive, energetic Apero. The events are designed to attract an audience from both cities.
We thank our Global Community Conversations sponsor Certified Interpreters United.
